Our Meditation classes in Miami

People don’t want to meditate because they think all it’s comprised of is closing your eyes and sitting there for one hour. You don’t have to do this, we take you on a journey of meditation. We don’t expect you to just sit still for one hour. Its hard to do with all our stimulants these days. It even took Buddha 6 years to accomplish this! You have to prepare your body and mind. Our techniques focus on the preparation as much as the meditation. Everything is done in a playful and joyous manner and we don’t want to make it tedious. Let us show you what our meditation Miami sessions are all about.

At Osho Tushita Meditation, we believe in the power of mediation to bring about positive change in the world. We are committed to creating self awareness of how meditation, yoga practice, and mindfulness are powerful tools for self-development and living a healthy, happier, balanced life. Our meditation classes in Miami are designed to give you the tools you need to take control of your mind and health, one breath at a time.

Upcoming Events

We invite seekers of all spiritual paths to learn new meditation techniques devised by the enlightened mystic Osho. Osho is one of the most profound mystics of this century who developed techniques from different paths including Yoga, Tantra, Tao, Sufi, Zen, to name a few. Since our meditations are guided and thoroughly explained, no prior meditation experience is necessary. All are welcome.

Full Moon Osho Kundalini Meditation & Celebration

We had an overwhelmingly joyous time with our last meditation event and are continuing the series of transformation meditation events at the newly opened Osho ashram in Miami area.

We are gathering for a Full moon celebration with an hour of Osho Kundalini meditation preceded by an Osho discourse. Kundalini meditation is a very powerful technique, an hour long process that starts with body exercise to activate one’s bio-energy and bring about more vitality followed by a deep process of watchfulness and silence, eventually leaving the practitioner with inner silence and centeredness for hours after the meditation.
It is recommended to wear loose and comfortable clothing for this meditation. This helps in flow of the bio-energy during the first stage of meditation and with deeper relaxation during the last stage.
Also recommended not to come after a heavy meal as the meditation requires physical activity. Strictly no alcohol or mind altering drugs.
For detailed instructions and to download meditation music you can visit the website – http://www.oshomeditations.com/kundalini-meditation/
Cost – $10 Donation

Background Life journey in short.

About Early life and Journey as a Seeker.

As a 14-year-old boy, facing a family member’s demise, created the seed of investigation within, that led to the question: if death exists, what is the purpose of life? Meanwhile, as a teenage boy, I had just started to fall in love, and an interesting feeling was that, for love, even if death comes, it seems worth trying to be in love.

To understand about Love, easy and quick way to learn was television and movies. As I grew up, I realized that the love I was seeing in movies was not the same as the love I was experiencing.

I felt love, but it was more like I felt warm and happy being with someone. I had a positive first impression of someone. My hormones kicked in a lot later, for now this feeling was making me realize, I was in love.

As my friends, cousins, and I talked, I was advised that if I felt affectionate towards someone, I must confront my feelings to them, yet, I struggled to find the words to tell the person that I love them. As for me, what I was feeling in her presence, it wasn’t something I was doing usually. How could I go and say I love you? It seems like a lie because I am not doing anything, so it is just a feeling that I was feeling.

Ultimately, I started to search for the source of love, and put death and its mysteries as a second priority. I found that the source of love was what made life worth living, and death did not bother me when I was in that feeling of love.

So I started observing the worldly relationships around me and began to realize that they all had certain expectations of what I was supposed to do and how I was supposed to act.

I soon felt helpless and suffocated from depending on others as the source of my love and one question came to mind. To what extent will I be receiving their love? To a certain extent they will, everyone has their limit to which they will love me, if I cross that limit, will their affection be the same fir me? Or is it going to be converted into hate? For love, freedom had to be sacrificed on a certain level.

A teenager who was curious about some things, became more interested in finding out some answers.

Then this dependence makes things very painful. At the same time, I stumbled upon Osho talking on Meerbai or Saint Dadu Sant Kabir, Guru Nanak, Buddha, Krishna and many others. Osho is talking about love that transcends time and space. And its essence is different from its roots. It makes one independent, one can find the source of love that does not require dependency. He said that it is possible to find the source of happiness and love within oneself. Only after understanding this, is when one becomes capable of loving and sharing in true sense. The journey of love, bliss, and enlightenment starts here, albeit reluctantly.

The Seeker had started to become a sadhak, or one who is ready to practice something to find the source of love and understand life and death. At this point I had acknowledged, that books are insufficient, and there is an intense requirement for an aide who I can converse with, pose inquiries, and identify with.

After this, I read several books on love by Osho, and many of his contemporaries. I went to programs with many other Guru’s including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Of Art Of Living) and Paramsa Prajananda, Paramhamsa Harirananda, Vidhyadhishanand Giri (Kriya Yoga) , Kripaluji Maharaj and Mukundananda Sarasvati from (JK yog).

Eventually, I was able to meet Sw Anand Arun, a meditator  and devotee of Osho, who was introduced to me as facilitator and eventually became my guru and initiated me into Osho’s Neo Sannyas, and became my guide in the inner and outer journey of life.

Now in 2007, a sadhak was ready to take initiation and become a sanyasi, to learn and be helped. And it seems like destiny was kind, because it sent Sw. Anand Arun into my life. Where I was able to lower my ego and open up and admit to taking help. Sw. Anand Arun came into my life and helped me open my heart, trust, and take a leap of faith, and I took initiation, and now I’m practicing, so I can learn something more than what I know from books. The name ” Sw. Atma Paritosh “was bestowed by the master during the initiation ceremony of the Shakti path, after meditating for more than 10 years with my master, Bodhi Satva Sw. Anand Arun.

I felt like a child who learns to walk with help, for the first time I understood the real meaning of words like meditation and love. They became reality in accordance with understanding and experience. It used to be a glimpse, but I couldn’t connect all the dots in the puzzle, and finally the dots started to connect and a timeless glance began to occur.

I was invited to visit the guru’s ashram for seven times in the next seven years. I visited as many times as I could. Eventually I lost the number count. Experiences crystallized, and time came, and the guru and existence guided me to start actively teaching what I had learned or gained with the grace of my master.

I requested my master, Bodhisattva Sw Arun Anand to change my name to Sw. Prem Maitreya, because I have been looking for love all my life. Now as my feeling of “me” disappears again and again, I begin to feel that I am love I have been looking for, and I hope to be able to share this love with as many people as possible. I wanted to share, but who I can share with, was a question. Soon, I realized, the ones I share goodness in life with and the ones I celebrate with ..are Friends! To embark on this new journey of sharing I requested my master to change my name to Sw. Prem Maitreya, as a reminder to myself so I am reminded to make more friends and share my experience with them.

And offer Osho Sannyas to as many friends as possible. Because I want them to join and merge into this ocean of love and mystery and I have found it to be a catalyst and instrumental in my journey in search of love and life.

Frequently Asked Questions

Meditation is an age-old practice that has been shown to have a variety of benefits for mental and physical health. Although there are many different types of meditation, the basic premise is to focus on the breath and still the mind. This can be done by sitting with the spine erect, eyes closed, and attention resting on the breath. Thoughts and distractions will inevitably arise, but the goal is to simply observe them without judgment and then return the focus to the breath. With regular practice, meditation can help to reduce stress, improve concentration, core strength and promote a sense of well-being. It is a simple but powerful tool that is available to everyone.

There are many different types of meditation, each with its own unique benefits. Vipassana meditation, for example, is a great way to increase focus and concentration. Bhagavata meditation is perfect for those looking to relax and de-stress, while Osho meditation is ideal for those seeking to connect with their higher selves.

At our center, we believe that the best way to meditate is to combine all of these two styles of techniques. By doing so, you can reap the maximum benefits of each one. Our experienced Buddhist meditation Miami instructors will help you to find the perfect balance between all three approaches, providing you with the tools you need to achieve inner peace and harmony.

Meditation is an ancient practice that has been practiced for centuries in many different cultures. Meditation can be defined as a state of heightened awareness and concentration. The purpose of meditation is to focus the mind on a single object or thought, in order to achieve a state of inner peace and calm. There are many different ways to meditate, and there is no one correct way to do it. However, the most important thing is to find a method that works for you and that you feel comfortable with. If you are new to meditation, Osho Tushita Meditation Centre can help you get started. We offer a variety of classes and programs that will teach you how to meditate, and we also have experienced meditators who can guide and support you on your journey. You dont need any prior experience, all you need is an open mind and a willingness to learn. We hope to see you soon!

Mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. It is a mental state that people can choose to enter into at any time. Mindfulness is often used as a technique to help people relax and focus their attention in the present moment. When people are mindful, they are not thinking about the past or the future. They are simply paying attention to what is happening in the present moment, without judging it or reacting to it. Mindfulness can be beneficial for both physical and mental health. It can help to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and it can also improve sleep quality and concentration. In addition, mindfulness has been shown to boost the immune system and increase pain tolerance. For these reasons, mindfulness is an increasingly popular practice among people of all ages and something we focus on helping you to achieve at Osho Tushita Meditation.

It can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget to take a step back and appreciate the moment. Many people think of mindfulness as something that requires hours of sitting in contemplation. However, it is possible to be mindful in everyday life – it simply requires a little bit of effort and attention. One way to achieve mindfulness is through yoga and meditation. These practices help to focus the mind and body, promoting a sense of peace and well-being. However, there are also many other ways to be mindful. Simply paying attention to your breath or the sensation of your feet on the ground can help you to connect with the present moment. Additionally, taking time to appreciate the small things in life – a beautiful sunset, the smell of fresh-baked bread – can also help you to find moments of peace and joy. By making a conscious effort to be more mindful, you can bring a greater sense of calm and happiness into your everyday life.

Meditation doesn’t require you to believe in anything in particular, and it doesn’t produce any adverse effects even if you don’t think it’s “working.” However, that doesn’t mean that there’s no way to tell if meditation is working for you. One common sign that meditation is having a positive effect is a reduction in stress levels. If you find that you’re able to better handle stressful situations without feeling overwhelmed, it’s a good indication that your meditation practice is paying off. Another way to tell if meditation is working for you is to simply pay attention to how you feel before and after a session. If you find yourself feeling more relaxed and at ease after meditating, it’s a good sign that you’re on the right track. Ultimately, the best way to tell if meditation is working for you is simply to stick with it and see how you feel over time. With regular practice, you should notice gradual improvements in both your state of mind and your overall wellbeing.

One of the things that makes Osho Tushita meditation classes so special, is the ability to bring techniques homes. Our goal is to teach you how to be mindful and how to help yourself. You do not have to attend more than once (although we’d love to have you if you like!) in order to be successful.
